Wimbledon - Four time defending champion Roger Federer will be the first to experience the work-in-progress Centre Court when he gets the 2007 Wimbledon Championships underway.
The soon-to-be new look Centre Court is in the process of having a retractable roof fitted and in its current state is much more open than the players are used allowing a lot more wind, light and noise into the arena.
Having said that the world number one, who has made Centre Court his own over the past four years, is not expected to struggle in his open round clash with world number 85 Teimuraz Gabashvili.
Gabashvili is lacking in grand slam experience, having played just four matches at the four majors in the past year, and will be making his Wimbledon debut when he steps out against Federer. The 22-year-old Russian was in action in Paris last month but was forced to retire injured in his first round match with Flavio Cipolla of Italy.
Meanwhile, the opening match over on Court One between third seed Andy Roddick and Justin Gimelstob promises to be a crowd pleaser. Roddick, who has twice twice been runner-up at Wimbledon to Federer, was his usual entertaining self at Queen's two weeks ago is heading into the tournament enjoying a return to the kind of form that saw him reach the final two years ago.
Four time semi finalist Tim Henman also begins his Wimbledon campaign on Monday, on Centre Court. Henman, like his younger compatriot, faces an tough opening clash against Spain's 25th seeded Carlos Moya.
Former French Open champion Moya just leads the head-to-heads having won five of their nine clashes, although they have never met on grass and their last clash was four years ago.
Other men to watch out for on day one include ninth seed James Blake, who faces Russian Igor Andreev third on Court Two, and unpredictable Marat Safin, seeded 26th, who is matched against South African Rik De voest out on Court 18.
Over in the women's draw, world number one and favourite to lift the Venus Rosewater Dish, Justine Henin gets her tournament underway with what should prove a relatively undemanding match against Argentinean qualifier Jorgelina Cravero.
The diminutive Belgian should find the opening week of the tournament comfortable with the match to look out for being a potential quarter final meeting with two time champion Serena Williams.
Seventh seed Williams, who made a storming comeback at the beginning of the year racing to her third Australian Open title, faces Spain's Lourdes Lino Dominguez second on Court Two.
World number three Jelena Jankovic, who won the WTA Birmingham title on grass before reaching the final at s-Hertogenbosch, is in action on Centre Court against British wildcard Anne Keothavong, while her potential third round opponent Martina Hingis, Wimbledon champion 10 years ago, faces another Brit Naomi Cavaday on Court Two.

i belive that nadal will play stongly.
fish could made some problems but i belive on young spanish nº2.
its correct that he shows some problems in the last game but he was tired and i belive that he don´t forced is best game on that.
